Bike Ride

This was Lawson's first long bike ride. We packed up water, snacks, and the camera at noon last Saturday and set off in the 95 degree heat (yes, it was hot). Our destination...Draper Park...about 1.74 miles away.

This was Niki's first time on a bike ride (in a long time) too. She even tried to pop a wheely a couple times. That's my sporty chick!

Everyone made it to the park without incident. After a half hour of oven dry heat we were ready to sit in the shade, eat some food, and get re-hydrated. Lawson was especially hungry after the ride. With a face like that, you'd think we hadn't fed him in a week.

This is what summer Saturdays are all about.
