This past weekend we headed up to Canyon Lake (
about 30 minutes northeast of our house) to do some camping and boating. It was good times. The camp site was pretty good, right near the water.

Josh's favorite part of camping, as always, is cooking breakfast. We had eggs, bacon, coffee, hash browns and toast. No oatmeal for this crowd.

Good buddies, Lawson and grandpa Jim.

We were so proud of Lawson. He was brave enough to get out on the Super Screamer all by himself. At first he wanted us to go super slow, but after about 2 minutes of that he kept telling us to speed it up. We got him up to about 20 MPH and had to tell him that was enough (don't worry grandma and grandpa Mills, 20 sounds fast, but the tube is super stable at that speed). He still wanted to go faster. What a daredevil.

Tigger even got in on the action. Go Tu Tu face! (For those of you who don't know, Tigger is Niki and Josh's first baby. She's about 11 years old now and has been living with Niki's parents for the past 8 years).

This is what a long day at the lake looks like. He was asking us to turn on the "sleepy music" right after we pulled away from the lake, about 2:00 in the afternoon. A little nap got him all charged up for the rest of the evening.
