Last night we had a little birthday get together at the Mackenzie's house for Jim's birthday. Niki's grandma, Clara, treated us all to some enormous steaks that we grilled up on the Weber. Mmmm, mmmm. Thanks Clara, they were delicious.
After dinner we played a little latter golf (Josh couldn't believe he had never heard of this game before, it was awesome) and did some swimming. Lawson has turned into a little fish over this past summer. His absolute favorite place to be is the pool, particularly, grandma and grandpa's pool.
We finished off the evening with a home made carrot cake whipped up by Niki and her grandma. For those of you who have had the opportunity to taste Kneader's carrot cake (our previous favorite), imagine that, but better.
Good job girls, thanks making sure we eat well.
