Lawson got real close to the dolphins this time. Usually they won't come up to you if you don't have food, but they must have liked Lawson, because they kept coming up to him and letting him pet them. As you can see from the picture, he was really happy about that.
Lawson was all about the rides. This was the first of many we went on that day. If you look real close you can see us in the front row on this one (with Jenna and Kevin). We got drenched and Lawson wouldn't have had it any other way. He loves getting all wet on those rides. We went on a couple roller coasters and a few other water rides. We also saw a couple shows, including Shamu and a pretty cool diving show that also had some very acrobatic dolphins.
Each year around this time they start decorating the place with Halloween stuff. They had skeletons set up all over the place in funny different poses. Lawson was a little afraid to go up to them and get his picture taken, but with a little convincing and the bribe of one more ride, he finally got up enough courage. We're going to go back in a couple weeks towards the evening and go to their haunted forest. Lawson claims he'll be brave enough to go through it, but right now we're still trying to get him to go upstairs in our house (at night) without us. He's too afraid we're going to leave the house while he's up there (who knows were he gets this stuff).
We ended the day with a stop for an "adult beverage" at the Anheuser Busch Hospitality House. For those of you who haven't been to Sea World, they have this area featuring Anheuser Busch Clydesdale's and a brew house that you can get FREE samples of any Anheuser Busch beverage you can think of. Even O'Douls and their engergy drink (if you aren't in to the alcohol). They even have a BrewMaster's Club where you can go learn how to make beer and brew your own batch. It's pretty cool. Josh is planning on doing that at some point in the very near future. On our way home, we had to stop at the near by "Rudy's" for our favorite BBQ in Texas. This place is good eats. Niki, Josh and Lawson split a pound of brisket and a cup of creamed corn (which is the best we've ever tasted).

This looks like so much fun. I want to go to Sea World so bad. I think my girls would love it. Even though they love Hogel Zoo it just doesn't have the same draw. It makes me laugh that Lawson will go on all of the rides, but was nervous about standing next to a skeleton.
