Although his main present was the trip we took to Disneyland just days before, we had to have a celebration with a few little gifts to make it special for him (it's amazing how much you can get from the dollar store for $10 bucks).

Day after day we see this little boy turn into more of a little man. He wants so bad to be a 'teenager' already and I swear that in some ways he acts like one. But for every adolescent act, there are still a few of those things that shows us his innocence. The 'buddies' (a.k.a.-stuffed animals) that he collects and plays with; the rubbing of those buddies on his nose when he's relaxed or falling asleep; the caring and sensitive nature he shows towards people and animals; his belief in the tooth fairy and Santa Clause; the vulnerability he shows when he hears thunder and other loud noises (or any indistinguishable noise, for that matter); and so much more. Little by little our buggy is growing up and for all his accomplishments we couldn't be prouder parents.

Happy Birthday Lawson James! (a.k.a. - Buggy, Bugga, Monkey, Monkey-Butt, bugga-boo)
